DXE series have 'rack & pinion'  transmission for X & Y axes and ball screw for Z axis.  Mainly used in wood working applications for its speed and vacuum systems( as option).  

Auto Tool Changer is available as option on models DXE2513, DXE3015, DXE3020 & DXE4020.
